On September 18, Chief of China Office of Institute of Technology Carlow, Ireland, Mr. Su Zheng, visited Gengdan Institute and discussed further the cooperation between the two universities with Dr. Wang Jiasong, Dean of School of Engineering, Ms. Wang Xiaoyu, Director of International Office and Ms. Han Xi, Project Manager of International Office.

The Institute of Technology Carlow and our university have established a cooperative relationship since 2017. The cooperation field is mainly focused on the specialty of mechanical manufacturing, electronic information engineering, industrial design, and engineering management.

The main purpose of this meeting is to promote the implementation of the next stage of cooperation between the two universities. After discussion, the two sides reached a number of consensuses on the details for the next step of cooperation. For example, after National Day, we will arrange the campus briefing, the meeting with major directors, the university publicity materials and so on. This meeting will open a new chapter for the deepening cooperation between our university and Institute of Technology Carlow.
