The overseas internship base of the School of Humanities was established
On the afternoon of May 1st, the signing ceremony of the overseas teaching internship practice base of the School of Humanities of Gengdan Institute, Beijing University of Technology, was held at KRIRK University in Thailand. Li Jie, Dean of the School of Humanities, and Gong Chen, Project Manager of the International Office, attended the signing ceremony. This marks another solid step forward for Gengdan Institute and KRIRK University in the successful implementation of student exchange programs and the cultivation of applied talents.
School of Humanities of Gengdan Institute , Beijing University of Technology, adheres to the educational mission, rooted in the positioning of "open, international, and applied" education. With a student-centered approach, it implements studio teaching and project-based learning reforms to promote the cultivation of applied talents, allowing students to learn by doing and grow through practice. The successful signing of the overseas teaching internship practice base represents not only a new model of Sino-Thai educational cooperation but also a true embodiment of Gengdan Institute's commitment to nurturing high-quality talents with a global perspective, innovation, and practical abilities.
Professor Dr. Krasae Chahawohgse, President of KRIRK University and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, attended the signing ceremony and presented his works as gifts.
Currently, five students from our university who are participating in an exchange program at KRIRK University in Thailand also attended the signing ceremony. We hope to strengthen bilateral exchanges and cooperation between our university and Thai universities in the future.
In the rapidly evolving landscape of information technology, knowledge exchange has transcended regional and national boundaries, leading to the imminent globalization of education. In this new scenario, the focus shifts to how we can cultivate applied talents who can better integrate into the process of global education integration and contribute to cross-cultural communication. This becomes a new challenge for our university as we strive to advance our internationalization efforts.
The successful signing of the teaching internship practice base with KRIRK University in Thailand represents an effective exploration by the School of Humanities at our university to nurture talents with an international perspective. Moving forward, we will redouble our efforts to expand overseas cooperation and exchanges, integrating Gengdan education into the world and contributing our strength to the global education process.
