On the evening of April 2, the International Office held a sharing meeting for students of the 2023-2024 academic year Overseas Semester courses and Winter courses. Wu Tao, Executive Vice President, Tian Ye, Assistant President, Li Jie, Dean of the School of Humanities, Lin Zijie, Dean of Gengdan academy of Design, Wang Xiaoyu ,Director of the International Office, and the students in charge of the Teachers of student work attended the sharing meeting.

The sharing meeting invited 6 students who participated in the autumn semester and winter courses, and each of them made wonderful sharing. First year student of Industrial Design , Chen Zhuo, participated in the winter course of the Hong Kong University . She shared the differences between the teaching methods in Hong Kong and the mainland and the friendship she gained in the group study, and introduced tips on further study and employment. Sun Haitong, a semester exchange student from Hanyang University, shared her interesting experience of teaching Chinese to international friends in South Korea by combining her professional advantages. First year student of digital Media Technology , Zou Jiatong , has been fond of animation and boxing since he was a child. He participated in the winter course of the University of Tokyo and went to his idol's boxing gym to watch the boxing show during his study in Tokyo.

The 6 students' sharing was wonderful. They recorded their overseas study life with photos and videos, and also combed their growth and enlightenment brought by exchange and study with words, which won bursts of applause from the teachers and students. The deans of each school and the heads of student affairs took the stage to present the "International Star" trophy, certificate and BGD Spring cherry blossom version bear to 6 students. Subsequently, Ms. Gong Chen from the International Office focused on the summer and autumn courses that are being applied for, from the types of courses, countries of partner institutions, cost budgets and other aspects, combined with the growth stories of students who participated in overseas exchange, to explain the help that overseas exchange study can bring to students' growth.

      Finally, Wu Tao, Executive Vice President, shared his experience and feelings in this activity with the students. He said that the speeches of the 6 students were very attentive, not only could they vividly feel the wonderful and rich life of overseas exchange and study, but also saw the improvement of their individual comprehensive ability. More importantly, overseas exchange and study brought changes in the cognitive thinking of students, indicating that participating in overseas exchange activities is very meaningful and valuable for the growth of students. He stressed that all schools should attach importance to and encourage students to actively participate in overseas exchange and learning, and organize exchange and sharing meetings as soon as possible, so that more students can understand the benefits of overseas exchange for everyone's growth and participate in them.
