The International Office held a seminar on exchange courses of the three partner universities from the United States, Germany and Thailand
In the 12th teaching week, the International Office invited the heads of the Chinese Offices of the three partner universities from the United States, Germany and Thailand to introduce the courses to the students, respectively, the semester academic course and master's course of Kent State University in the United States, the master's course of Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and the tuition-free semester course of Krirk University in Thailand.
At the seminar, the three teachers introduced the cooperative universities from the aspects of geographical location, customs and culture, campus environment, academic atmosphere, admission conditions, language requirements and so on. In addition, the advantages and characteristics of each university are explained according to the information of diet, accommodation, professional level, campus culture,etc,so that students have a basic understanding of the university and related courses. At the same time, according to the analysis of the current employment situation of undergraduate graduates, the teachers explained the advantages of studying abroad and the professional suitability of relevant colleges and universities. In addition, the teacher also shared their personal experience, dispelling the students' doubts about the overseas environment and enhancing the students' enthusiasm for studying abroad. At the end of each lecture, the teacher showed the videos of the former students studying and living abroad, and gave relevant suggestions to the actual situation of the students, so that the students' academic career planning was clearer.
More than 300 students attended the three presentations. The seminar this week made the students have a fuller understanding of the relevant issues of overseas exchange courses and the preparation for applying to foreign universities. The teachers of the International Office will continue to answer questions for students to follow up in the future, and help students make academic planning in advance.
