Gengdan Institute of Beijing University of Technology held an English Teaching competition on March 24th, aiming to stimulate teachers' innovative thinking and teaching enthusiasm,and also to improve their teaching level and quality, this build a platform for teachers to learn and communicate with each other.

In this competition, excellent English teachers are selected by each English Teaching and Research office, participants are required to complete the overview of instructional design and teaching demonstration.The competition adopts the scoring standard of "Foreign Teachers Club Cup" National College Foreign Language Teaching Competition in Beijing.A panel of judges consists of school English teachers and teaching experts, scoring the contestants' teaching content, teaching process, teaching effect, comprehensive quality and teaching innovation. The trimmed mean is used to calculate the score, and the ranking of the same score is determined by on-site voting. Dozens of teachers and students participated in the exhibition and observation. After on-site scoring and voting, the results are as follows:

Song Wenli and Yang Yunzhan won the first prize and the second prize respectively in the competition, they will represent all English teachers in the Teaching fundamentals competition、the Beijing Competition of "Foreign Language Club Cup" National College Foreign Language Teaching Competition and the FLTRP "Teaching Star" Competition.
