On October 17, 2018, Professor Liu Sihe, an artistic designer of the film “Shadow”, was invited by GAD to hold a lecture on "The Secret of Design behind the Film" for theatre art design programme.

刘思何老师先后参与电影《一代宗师》、《太平轮》、《影》、《图兰朵》等经典一线影片的美术创作，是业界经验丰富、才华横溢的青年电影美术指导。为了更好的让学生参与到电影讨论，保证讲座效果，在讲座前期，戏剧影视美术设计专业组织策划戏美16、17级学生集体观看电影，充分调动了学生们的积极性。刘思何老师对电影中的核心创作内容进行了全面深入的剖析。内容包括沛国城场景设计、境州城场景设计、主场景搭建流程、屏风陈设设计、武器道具设计等。同时刘老师还为同学们讲解了电影美术设计师该如何与导演沟通，以及如何协调其他创作部门保证设计任务顺利开展等实践经验，使同学们在读懂电影的同时更全面的了解电影的创作方法。

Mr. Liu Sihe has participated in the creation of classic first-line films such as The Grand Master, The Crossing, Shadow and Turandot. He is an experienced and talented young film art director in the industry. In order to let the students participate in the film discussion and ensure the effect of the lecture, before the lecture, theatre art design programme organized Grade 16 and 17 students to watch the film collectively, fully mobilized the enthusiasm of students. Professor Liu Sihe made a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the core creative content in the film. The contents include Pei Guocheng scene design, Jingzhou city scene design, main scene construction process, screen display design, weapon props design and so on. At the same time, Mr. Liu also explained to the students how to communicate with the director, and how to coordinate with other creative departments to ensure the smooth development of design tasks and other practical experience, so that students can understand the film and get a more comprehensive understanding of film creation methods.
